Today's walk....feeding and time to fly.

After some research I found what they like to eat. I cooked up some fresh vegetables and took them along. Some sweet corn got eaten but not much else, I then dropped my reserve, which they aren't suppose to have, bread and of course they loved it. The sheep seemed quite curious as to what was going on too. So tomorrow if thy are still there it will be sweet corn and maybe a couple of slices of reserve bread!

After the morning meal it was time to fly off up the valley. Unfortunately a very dull and frosty morning so not the best pic's. I never had time to alter the camera settings otherwise the shots could have been a bit better, will try again tomorrow and be better prepared.

Today's walk......they have returned!

The Muscovy ducks have returned. They are now in another field across the river. I am reliably informed that they are pet ones so someone must be missing them, they are very friendly so I think that must be the case. A dull and very cold start to the day, I don't like to use the camera flash for fear of frightening them off.

Today's walk.....Alpacas and Goats.

They were right next to the road today which made things a bit easier, maybe they fancied a bit of posing.

This Alpaca is a bit of a poser I think.

They all seem to get on OK.

Today's walk...Ruthin road.

Sunrise along the Ruthin road, Denbigh. HDR edited.

Cwmorthin valley waterfalls.

As I said previously, thick fog, blowing a gale and some rain, perfect weather for shooting waterfalls. Can be tricky keeping the lens dry, have a waterproof cover for camera so no problem with that.

Today's walk....duck update,alpacas, cat and frosty start.

When the ducks did their flypast yesterday that was it. They were not there today so have left for pastures new. In total they stayed for 12 days.

Alpacas and a white cat.

Farm buildings on a frosty morning, at least the sun is shinning.

Today's walk......Moscovy ducks.

They were waiting by the fence for me today, must be hungry. After given them a feed I walked off down the road, the next thing was they both flew past at speed heading for the Denbigh moor. Maybe they have gone home before the cold weather arrives, will find out tomorrow. Maybe I helped them on their way.

Today's walk...Moscovy ducks.

I decided to take some bread with me today, as soon as they spotted me they raced across the field, one even flew. Still a bit dull but better pic's today.

Today's second walk...Cwmorthin falls.

Thick fog, blowing a gale with some rain thrown in, ideal waterfall weather. I am almost out of things to post so felt I had to make the effort today regardless of weather. I did have of course to go in to the Lakeside cafe for beans on toast and a mug of tea!

Today's walk...daffodils.

Nice show of daffodils this morning.
