The sheep have almost stripped the grass from the field, edited. The wind has dropped a bit today but it has become a lot colder, only 2 degrees when I left.

The level has dropped back and it's much clearer today.

A town of books and bookshops.

The town is twinned with Timbuktu.

Steps to the castle.

From the top of the steps. The bookcase in the midground has been moderised and will give the books better protection from the elements. Can't be many outside bookcases in the world!

Old wooden porch.

Today's walk... the rivers.

After running clear for several days, the two rivers meet and are in full flow and chocolate in colour.

My definitions, if I can jump it it's a stream, if I can't it's a river.

Llanfair- Dyffryn-Clwyd village.......8.

Final pic's from Llanfair Dyffryn Clwyd today, shame the sun didn't shine but at least it was dry. Have sent copies across to the  gentleman in the USA, his surname is Jones.

My latest purchase.

From the charity shop, a fully functioning paraffin lamp. You can only buy 5 litres of fuel and the lamp on holds an egg cup full so I haven't lit it as yet.

Today's walk.....bright start and wall.

A glow in the morning sky.

A bright start to the day and it's just possible it could continue through the day.

The wall rebuild in Love Lane is now complete and looking great too, a job well done.

Llanfair- Dyffryn-Clwyd village.

A gentleman living in Danville KY USA, has traced his ancestors back to Llanfair D.C. so I said I'd take a few pic's for him.

Road into the village.

The white horse public house comes into view over the brow of the hill.

Entrance to Llanfair DC school.
