 A very Happy and Peaceful New Year to you all.

Dinorwig hydroelectric power station. During the day it is powered by water from the lake at the top of the mountain, this is when demand is high. The water flows into the lake below and at night when demand is low the turbines work in reverse and pump the water back up to the top lake. The power station itself is built into the heart of the mountain.

 To ward off cabin fever I decided to make the effort and get out this morning.very dull again at 6 degrees but dry.

 I don't know if everyone ends up doing this towards the end of their lives, I'm 83 now. For the past few days I have been looking back on my life at things I should have and could have done better.I like the curious sheep, don't see many humans up here.

 Actually rode to the bridge today, it was a pleasant 9 degrees and dry.

Work continues on the paths while Park street is as bad as ever and getting worse by the day, I get a body massage when I go up and down on my mobility scooter!
