September trip, Hampton Court Castle 9.

After coming down from the tower you descend a flight of steps to this tunnel. There is a lamp as you can see but it wasn't lit. I fired my flash to get this then edged along the tunnel in the dark, hoping not to meet someone coming the other way. LOL

At the end of the tunnel you arrive at the sunken garden viewing platform, the waterfall is on your left.

This grotto has been made behind the falls.

Looking back at the castle from the top of the tower. The tower is located in the centre of a maze, you can see it in the foreground. Tomorrow we go through a passage under the tower that leads to the sunken garden.
