Leaves

This is from my morning walk today. Not a clue what sort of tree it is but it is interesting. The lighter bunch of leaves come first, they then die off and are replaced by the bigger leaves, there also are some buds starting to blossom too.
UPDATE. I now have it on good authority that it is a Wych Elm and that the smaller leaves are in fact seeds.
