Shoe or slipper.

When I was a young lad I helped grinding the corn. It was similar to this one and driven by the tractor power take off. It was on a plinth so the top of the hopper came level with the floor above. My task was to collect grain from the barn floor and feed the hopper. The noise was deafening and no earplugs were available in those days!
