Today's walk.....update.

Denbigh mental, January update. Another really dull and wet morning, not quite light yet.
Shot at 800asa and processed with my topaz and corel paint software, interestingly the software has pulled the detail out niceley as the original is extremely dark.

Today's walk......update pic.

Denbigh mental on a September morning. Not a lot happening there at the moment. The last sale failed to meet the reserve, I think another is in the pipeline.

Today's walk....thistles.

Thistles growing on a boundering wall of Denbigh asylum, still not sold.
A beautiful start to the day today, maybe the weather is finally going to improve.

Denbigh asylum, October 2010......22.

Final shots from Denbigh asylum today.

Steps to the underground area. Rumour has it that padded cells were located down there.

Hanging on.

Another long corridor.

Denbigh asylum, October 2010......18.

A major tile installation, must have taken hours!

Those roof trusses look like new!

Looks like it could still be in good working order.

Denbigh asylum, October 2010......16.

A side entrance.

One day it will all be redeveloped, so they say.

Typical of this large building, loads of corridors.

Today's walk...midweek selection.

Looks like stripes are the fashion for this year. Taken through a small gap in the hedge.

The river is up again and lifting the cattle grid. Coffee rather than chocolate colour today.

Finally all the loose rocks from the wall at Denbigh asylum have been collected and taken away by dumper truck.

On the right hand side the last affordable house is being demolished. The office building girders are being assembled. St David's church in the background. Taken from Vale Street.
