Packwood House 6

The bathing pool in the rear garden.

Another interesting sundial.

The hot house, a fire was kept alight to keep this building hot, it's purpose was to provide the correct conditions for the growing of peaches.

A doorway in the walled garden.

We will now leave Packwood  and visit Baddesley Clinton.

Some flowers from the walled garden. Unfortunately I'm no expert so can't help with any of their names.

Packwood House 2

Beautiful timber construction.

Visitors admiring the surroundings.

Fireplace and wall carpets.

Wonderful carvings. Notice the cords on the chairs, this is done to prevent the public sitting on them.

Illustrated Bible, I think it is of Dutch origin.

Just to remind you, although photography is allowed inside some National Trust property, neither flash or tripods may be used, as a consequence the shots are not as crisp as I would like them to be.

Packwood House

The Main entrance.

Looking from the back garden.

The rear of Packwwod.

They certainly loved their timepieces in those days.
