Today's walk...saturday selection.

In full song.

A slight ground frost this morning but a beautiful sunny start.

Blossom.

Young ram. I told him he needs to smarten up if he wants to attract the ladies!

Blossom against the blue sky.

Christmas carol.

Good to see a local ram entering into the spirit of Christmas.

Today's walk.....that time again and autumn leaf.

Time to get some Spring lambs on the way.

A great comment from my friend in Canada,
"Oh my word, look at the understanding of her friend staying close to her and telling her, it will soon be over…lol!"

Autumn leaf.

Today's walk....sunrise and ram.

A bright dawn made a nice change after the last few days.

The ram was taking a rest as I passed the Denbigh mental this morning. He must have decided he has completed the current lamb making task.

Today's walk......new kid on the block!

New ram at Denbigh mental. Wearing his pad ready to do some sheep colouring in!

Sniffing the air, obviously feeling lucky. If you look closely this shot shows quite well that, sheep and rams, only have a lower set of teeth with just a pad in the roof of the mouth.

Love the look on the sheep's face, probably thinking typical male!
Plenty of rain again today.

Waiting to make lamb.

One of the local rams from my walk today. The chest pad makes a mark on the back of the sheep that he has mated with, that way he knows which ones have been serviced, saves him having to remember their names!

Walk to the Gold Mine.14

With all his sheep about the ram is keeping a close eye on me!.

The old tree is still hanging on in there.

Close up.
