Looking towards Blaenau Ffestiniog, I often wonder if the rock formation is actually an extinct volcano.

I'm no geologist, but this looks awfully like an extinct volcano at the rear of the town, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

While making my way down the mountain, trains from the Ffestiniog railway came into view.

The cafe in the foreground, Lakeside Cafe, is where I always stop after my walks for beans on toast and a cup of tea.
