Morning walk shots.7

Looking over the fields to the farm buildings and the red building that was once a school.

Starting to climb up through the woods. That's not a Welsh word in the road, it's "slow" upside down. LOL

The only evidence of the channel carrying water to power the mill. The river was diverted upstream and was channeled along the side of the valley. From this point it passed under the road beneath where I'm standing and made it's way to the mill.

Looking from the road back into Denbigh. Howell's school in the middle and St David's church to the right.

Morning walk shots.5

Snow and haze on the Clwydian range.

Once a school.

In the distance the Coachman's house.

Entering the valley. A cold wind blows across here in the winter.

The old watermill, now converted in a private house. There was, until recently, a beautiful weeping willow in front of the house, the roots were starting to undermine the house so it was cut down.
