August Holiday.......Berrington Hall 9.

Use to store the Officers head dress.

Courtyard clock.

Trophies on the wall of the cafe'.

Decorative features above the main door.

Sunshine through the curved wall. No doubt this feature will have a special name which
I am not familiar with.

August Holiday.......Berrington Hall 7.

Steps to the house from the courtyard.

A smaller but "must have" curved wall.

Drying racks. Clothes were hung on the rails, the racks were then slid into a heated enclosure. Have only come across this system once, that was in a now demolished convent in North Wales.

Mangle, for removing most of the water from washing.

Wooden sinks in which to hand washing of clothes.

A selection of irons.

Swallow in the morning sun.

Taken on my morning walk today, a beautiful sunny start, made a nice change.

River on the moor.

Taking a break from Berrington hall today to show some shots of a river on the moor in the Bala area of North Wales. Taken yesterday afternoon.

This bridge would have been used to get sheep across the river years ago. It was certainly built to last.
