Memorial bench.

Several weeks ago I did a project at the bee garden in Henllan to record the installation of a memorial bench. A set of pic's were provided to the manufacturer who has used them as advertising material.
However, I received no recognition or credit on their website as the photographer, I'll now post them myself.

Heron.

I have been trying for ages to get a decent shot of a Heron, this is not perfect but the best I've managed to get so far. Taken on my walk today, for a change it was sunny and dry.

Looks a bit of a mess in there.

Staveley hall, now the council offices.

Coat of arms above the door.
"The inscription on the Coat of Arms reads 'Peter Frechvil Knight. 1694'. The hall, later Staveley Rectory, was built in c 1604, and was acquired by the Frecheville Family (whose graves can be seen in St John the Baptist Church in Staveley) in 1681. The rectory was partially demolished in the early 19th century, and remodelled in a jacobean style by Scott in 1867. The building is now used as District Council Offices".

Well smashed up.

Came across this at the end of a country lane on my walk, looks like they hit a hedge a few yards up the lane which is in fact only a car width wide..
