93rd Entry Royal Air Force Locking.

A list is being compiled as to the whereabouts of ex 93rd entry apps from RAF Locking.
It is hoped to organise a large reunion next year. You can drop me a note at

National Memorial Arboretum.

Aerial view.

The approach.

The main reason for the visit. I trained as an apprentice at RAF Locking from 1959 to 1962 when it was known as Number 1 Radio school. I was a member of the 93rd entry and completed my training as an Air Radio Fitter having studied both airborne radar and wireless.

A large and impressive memorial.
