Today's walk......rain.

Very dark and wet on my walk today.

Today's edit....wych elm.

Too wet for pic's today, this is from a couple of days ago.

The wych elm seeds have almost gone and are being replaced by new leaves. 

Today's walk......river is up.

Very dark and wet again today, shot this at 2000asa so some editing required.

After all the heavy rain the river is well up. The leaves are hanging on.

Today's walk....flowers and Wych Elm.

Purple flowers.

 

Wych Elm tree. An unusual tree and it's quite large. First these leaf like seed pods grow and when the time is right they are shed. "Normal" looking leaves then grow where the seed pods first appeared.
