A misty Cwmorthin valley. 5.

Overlooking the chapel wall, HDR edit.

The stones from the chapel walls remain piled up. Maybe the chapel will also be restored.

Looking back along the track from the front of the chapel.

Walk to Wrysgan mine.3

Very low cloud.

Overflow.

Ruin of the miners barracks.

Bridge over the river. A couple of years ago the river was so high that the bridge was destroyed.

Walk to Wrysgan mine.2

The bridge has become dangerous so has been closed, this means a slight detour.

A large section of the bank has collapsed.

This shot shows very clearly why the bridge has been closed. However, when you consider that no concrete etc was used in it's construction it has lasted well.

Our destination at the moment is covered in low cloud, the forecast say's things will improve.
