The southern side of the original moelwyn tunnel. In time it will be completely overgrown. Too much water to get any closer with just walking boots on.

Ffestiniog railway.......20.
The track emerges from the new tunnel.
The track to the old tunnel along the viaduct is also blocked by boulders.
I came across this very old pic on the web, it was called the tunnelmess, built for the tunnelers.
Colour photography wasn't available when the railway was constructed so not sure about this, could have been a painting I suppose.
