As it was still almost dark and raining I did a 6 second exposure. I think the

distortion is caused by the rain refracting the light.

Blowing a gale this morning, heavy rain showers with some hail thrown in. Took this during a gap in the showers.

The farmer finally has a nice new fence after a BMW was stuffed into the last one.

Another dull and damp morning in Denbigh.

Plenty of rain in the last 24 hours so the river risen quite a lot. Plenty of soil being carried down, will probably make it off Rhyl.

I first took this shot five years ago, as it's rained all the way on my walk I thought I'd repost in the hope Spring isn't too far away.

Today's walk......dropping fast.

Overnight rain and an increasing northerly wind is stripping the leaves fast.

Sheltering from the rain. Sheep don't mind the cold but don't go a bundle on rain!

Cold and wet with some snow thrown in. Ducks had their breakfast.

As I said previously, thick fog, blowing a gale and some rain, perfect weather for shooting waterfalls. Can be tricky keeping the lens dry, have a waterproof cover for camera so no problem with that.

Dyserth falls.

Taken last thursday. After all the recent rain there is plenty of water coming away from the falls, unfortunately the falls themselves were closed to the public. HDR edit.

Blowing a gale and hammering down with rain, quite dark so for hand held this hasn't turned out too bad. The cattle grid, normally vertical, is almost horizontal. Could only shoot from this side of the bridge as the rain was straight on to the lens.
