A misty Cwmorthin valley. 8.

Almost back down to the floor of the valley. HDR. It's worth noting that the valley and lake are several hundred feet above sea level.

Barracks at the side of the track.

I spotted this rock at the side of the track on my way back down. With a little imagination you can make out the face of a cat, complete with ears. The top one is edited in HDR.

A misty Cwmorthin valley. 6.

Chapel from the lakeside track. HDR

Chapel from the track.

After a 0.3 mile climb up a stony track at the end of the valley, we come to another set of falls. The building on the left once housed a waterwheel. Top shot is and HDR edit.

A misty Cwmorthin valley. 5.

Overlooking the chapel wall, HDR edit.

The stones from the chapel walls remain piled up. Maybe the chapel will also be restored.

Looking back along the track from the front of the chapel.
