Time for the long climb, plays hell with your knees both going up and down.

Walk to the Stwlan dam....26.

Long before the dam was built, a waterwheel  was housed here to provide power for the slate dressing sheds.

The lone building on the right is probably where the explosive "black powder" was stored.

In the distance, the dressing sheds where the slate was cut to shape.

Looking back along the track, in time this will fall away into the valley below.

The whole building is on the move.
