Cwm Penmachno......Spring 2012. 6.


Looking down on the village in the valley below.


In the distance is the chimney of the steam engine house and the village that we visited on a previous walk.


On the summit there are many underground streams which wash away soil, as a consequence the land above drops by a few feet now and again.


Way in the distance is Wales highest mountain, Snowdon.


The sun now illuminates the whole valley.

Trip to Llanberis.


The trip started off  a bit dull but it did brighten up. 
These first shots are looking across Llynau Mymbyr towards Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. As is often the case, it is shrouded in cloud.
