Reservoir on top of the mountain. 

Water from here was used to power machinery in the dressing sheds below at Blaenau Ffestiniog.

The tramway runs at the side of the lake.

The large winding drum would have sat between the two uprights at the top of the incline.

Dropping down to the lake was too steep so this will be my detour to get back to the car park.

Walk to Llyn Bowydd and quarry, September 2014.

After a dull and misty start the sun eventually burned through.

Taken as I drove over the Denbigh moor on my journey.

 

A record of my walk.

  

The old repeater station, which has stood here for years, has finally been trashed.

  

Took a slight detour to get a couple of shots of the dressing sheds and steam engine house.
