Walk around Rhiwbach quarry 11.

The walk around the quarry is complete, once again I hope you found it interesting.

All that remains is to take the road back down the valley, fortunately I can drive the final leg.

This mine entrance is tucked away from view, centre picture. 

Looking at the lower left shot, I'm not sure it went into the mountain very far.

Several different minerals have been washed over the rock face.

Walk to Llyn Bowydd 11.

Just before we get to the dressing sheds, a couple of pic's of the quarry. If you follow the path, bottom centre, you will see the entrance to a mine.

These trees seem to grow well on top of the waste slate. There are two quarry's here joined by a tunnel, you can see that on the right of the picture about a quarter of the way up.
