Today's walk......slate mines.

As it was forecast to be a half decent day I decided it was time I went to the hills again. 

This shot is looking back out of a slate mine entrance.

Denbigh mental entrance. A very mist start which is slowly burning off, with luck, another sunny day.

Mine entrance. A couple of years ago there was a big fall of slate and the entrance to the mine was completely covered. The plan was to open a section to the public.

The entrance to the mine is clear once again so the project will probably continue.
