Reservoir on top of the mountain. 
Water from here was used to power machinery in the dressing sheds below at Blaenau Ffestiniog.



The tramway runs at the side of the lake.

Cwmorthin valley waterfalls.......11.




This small reservoir was redesigned and rebuilt last year. It powers a small turbine at the bottom of the valley.
  

Slate bridge. A few years ago it was demolished by the flow of water after a storm.

My walk is finally completed, finishing from where I started at the reservoir.




The work is almost complete.


Butterfly enjoying the warmth of the sun. Off to the cafe now for my beans on toast and a cup of tea.

Walk to Wrysgan mine.15



Ruined mine building.


Dam and resevoir, this provided power for the tools in the dressing sheds.


The hydroelectric power station, feeding power to the national grid.

Time to go back down. Fortunately the cloud base didn't drop too low.
